Opening preview Friday 7th March 6-10pm.

Sebastian Clark is a print designer from London fashion label Cyberdog who has been developing his digital painting style for the last 3 years. This show will be a chance to see the body of work he has produced whilst living in Bristol.
Sebastian's style has a bright and cartoon-like quality, heavily inspired by American culture and literature, such as Steinbeck and Bukowski. His images focus on movement and composition, incorporating characters from novels and conceptualizing the story lines behind them. His paintings express concepts that illustrate ideas for both character, fashion and interior design. He works in various media such as pencil, digital painting and illustrator vector.
He is exhibiting paintings made from 2012-2014 with a variety of work including concept artwork for the ongoing project: "Domino Girls", a group of rogue army girls fighting to put the 'F' back into in Fashion! Expect to see robots, girls and robot girls!
Thought this might be of interest to a few of you..
A chance for artists to come behind the scenes at the museum to draw and photograph specimens from the biology collections.
The biology curator will assist you prior to your visit in sourcing unusual and rarely seen specimens from the biology collection in our underground store. We have over 650,000 specimens including taxidermy, pinned insects, shells, corals, eggs, skulls and ‘pickled’ animals, that can be drawn and photographed as reference material for your art work. This workshop is for adults and is untutored but the curator will be on hand to ensure you get the most out of the day.
